Trying Something New.........

  Again, it has been too long since my last post.  I wanted to update everyone that Lily has been doing great.  She is really enjoying being a Kindergartener this year, and her teacher has had nothing but great things to say about her work at school.  Go Lily!!  The last time we were at the cardiologist was in October of last year, and we are due to go back sometime in April for her 6 month check-up.  

  Our beloved Dr. Donner informed us at the last visit that he is indeed retiring.  The first thing he said to me was, "now don't go and get emotional and cry on me."  That of course set off the waterworks!  We have known since Lily was born that this day would come, but it doesn't make it any easier :(  I am very certain that we would not have made it through this journey in one piece, and learned all that we have without his guidance.  Dr. D always has a way of putting things into perspective, being extremely positive and reassuring, and using humor which is the best medicine!  You will be loved always, and missed greatly Dr. Donner!

  On February 25th, our amazing heart warrior will turn 6 years old.  Wow, how time flies.  She is without a doubt the strongest and most determined little girl I know.  Happy Birthday sweet girl   XOXOXOX
